Seven Rules

Over a year ago, before the birth of my third child, I set out to change the way I lived my life. I wanted to be a better example to my children, document my life, and find a way for me to reflect on the things that i’ve done. Seven rules for my kids started as instagram posts that allowed me to express myself through my photography, while also passing down some advice to my kids.

Why am I doing this?

Plain and simple, it’s hard being a parent and I don’t always act and reflect who I want my kids to see as a father figure. What I do have, are thoughts, good intentions and well wishes. So through this blog, i’ll document those things so perhaps one day, my kids will read through them and have a better understanding of who I was and maybe better understand the feelings I had for them.

“Fatherhood is the great(est) thing that could ever happen. You can’t explain it until it happens—it’s like telling someone what water feels like before they’ve ever swam in it.” - Michael Bublé

I hope that somewhere in these words, you’ll understand what you truly meant to me.
